Designed to excel in the most brutal fights a casting rod can endure.

Our signature casting series of rods were conceived of necessity. While many rods we used in the past did survive what we put them through, none truly thrived.

Each model has been designed, refined and tested in the harshest of combat scenarios for literally thousands of hours, seeing hundreds of trophy class fish landed. We are confident, no series has been so heavily tested prior to release.

When you are faced with battling trophy class fish, attack is the best form of defence. Take the fight to them with the SERPENTES series.

Specifications

632 DEATH ADDER

The pocket rocket of the range. The Death Adder is designed for close quarters combat, when casting accuracy is rewarded. While at home pitching rubbers, vibes and smaller swimbaits. This model is primarily designed for fishing jerk baits. The 270mm butt grip won’t cause you grief when twitching lures, yet still long enough to put real hurt on fish when it matters.

Type: Cast
Sections: 2-Butt
Length: 6'3 | 190cm
PE rating: 4-5
Cast Weight: 15-65g

662 TAIPAN

The crown jewel of our range. The Taipan was the first rod designed in the lineup. If you can only own one Trophy Barra, Black Bass or Cod stick, this is the rod to have. Equally effective fishing medium to large jerk baits, 5-9” rubbers, small - medium swimbaits, larger vibes, topwater or spinnerbaits. This rod does it all. Through many years of testing, spending most days on the water, we found this rod’s butt length, at 300mm, to be the most versatile for any retrieve style you choose to employ. A true, one rod quiver.

Type: Cast
Sections: 2-Butt
Length: 6'6 | 198cm
PE rating: 4-5
Cast Weight: 25-80g

692 BLACKSNAKE

Our ultimate rod for deep school fish. The Blacksnake is what we pull out when marking fish down low on the sounder. We fish it with a wide range of lures. From 5” prawns, to 130mm vibes through to 5” 7” and 9” rubbers and large spinnerbaits. This rod has the tip to drive a big weedless hook or jig head home, and the bottom end grunt to turn big fish from heavy structure. With a 330mm but length, you can get great leverage casting heavier baits. Not only is this rod our deep structure destroyer. But she is our go to, when fishing medium to large rubbers high in the water column.

Type: Cast
Sections: 2-Butt
Length: 6'9 | 205cm
PE rating: 4-5
Cast Weight: 25-80g

702 GWARDAR

Our long allrounder. Slightly lighter than the Tapain. The Gwardar is too, designed with our goldilocks butt length of 300mm, and is at home throwing almost anything. We love working 100-130mm vibes, prawns and 4-7” rubbers, pitching deep jerk baits to timber, shallow jerk baits on the flats, spinnerbaits and small to medium swimbaits. But most of all, we love this rod for topwater. If you’re as obsessed with surface fishing as we are, this is the rod for you.

Type: Cast
Sections: 2-Butt
Length: 7'0 | 213cm
PE rating: 3-4
Cast Weight: 20-50g

702 MULGA

Our big bait special. We are very proud of this beast.

If 8-12” baits are getting the bites, this is what you will want to throw them on.

While shorter than conventional swimbait rods our testing has minimal to no loss of casting distance compared to longer rods, yet offering improved accuracy, and far more leverage for the angler against the fish.

Featuring a 360mm butt grip, this rod won’t fatigue your wrists throwing heavy baits all day. With a heavy tip capable of setting large hooks and more than enough butt strength to pull up any fish capable of being stopped - the Mulga is a true monster slayer.

Type: Cast
Sections: 2-Butt
Length: 7'0 | 213cm
PE rating: 5
Cast Weight: 40-100g
