Fishing Report - Friday 2 April
After the recent wind and rain it's churned up our waterways and for the better. The beaches have some great gutters, the fish on our inshore reefs are feasting on all the broken shellfish and urchins from the recent swells and toothy critters like hairtail are visiting the estuaries.

Fishing Report - Friday 20 March
The water temp around Sydney is very warm and with it there are plenty of fish feeding and visiting Sydney from more tropical waters with a very rare and unique catch of a juvenile tiger shark caught in Watson's Bay in Sydney Harbour! The speedsters like bonito are still feeding on the surface, the beaches are loaded with small dusky whaler sharks and kingfish are still abundant.

Local Fishing Report - Friday 6 March
The warm water off Sydney has turned on the sports fish with plenty of blue marlin being caught as well as tropical visitors like shortbill spearfish and wahoo. Still plenty of pelagics being caught inshore and our beaches are producing some big fish with mulloway, sharks and XL tailor in the mix.

Fishing Report Friday 20 February
Plenty of variety at the moment with the beaches, estuaries, harbour and offshore all providing mixed species. From fast moving pelagics like bonito and mac tuna to autumn staples like trevally and luderick are all on the cards in and around Sydney.

Local Fishing Report Friday 6 February
The fishing is very healthy at the moment with warm water both inshore and offshore. Anglers are having tonnes of fun on smaller sized bonito busting up close to shore which is ideal for younger anglers. Kingfish are still around in good numbers and the beaches are producing plenty of whiting, bream and small sharks.

Fishing Report - Friday 23 January
The game fishing is starting to fire up - even after the heavy rains. Sydney is starting to see good numbers of black and striped marlin as well as mahi mahi. Closer inshore the harbour and Pittwater are seeing good numbers of rat kings taking both bait and lure. The beaches are seeing plenty of whiting with bonito being caught along our rocks.

Local Fishing Report Friday 9 January
Happy New Year everyone! The fishing has been great to kick start the new year with summer visitors like bonito starting to show up off the local rock ledges and Pittwater. More and more reports of marlin being caught are coming in from anglers fishing north of Sydney but it wont be long until these fish make their way further south to local waters.

Local fishing report - Friday 19 December
The fishing is starting to fire up just in time for the Christmas break. Larger kings are making their way into the harbour, summer whiting and bream are being caught off our beaches. Flathead and jewfish are lurking around the upper reaches of the harbour.

Summer is finally here and so are the fish! The harbour is producing plenty of school jewfish, kingfish are making their presence off deeper reefs, the estuaries are producing plenty... -
Local Fishing Report Friday 21 November
The water is looking great offshore! The bait is thick at the usual spots and early season marlin are around. Mahi mahi are slowly making their way to Sydney with a few smaller being spotted. The harbour is producing XL flathead on live baits and bigger plastics and the beaches are producing solid numbers of summer bream.

Fishing Report 7 November
Summer is just around the corner and summer fish are starting to arrive with the Fishing Station team getting into some striped marlin off Sydney. The Broken Bay and Sydney FADs have been deployed for while but there haven't been any reports of mahi mahi just yet. Inshore has seen captures of big snapper and kings and the beaches are warming up with big catches of whiting and bream.

Local fishing report - 24 October
It's been unseasonably warm as of late with temperatures soaring both on land and in the ocean. The early warm water has seen a number of striped marlin being caught off Sydney which, fingers crossed we don't jinx it, may be the start of a bumper marlin season. In closer snapper are being caught off our local reefs and the whiting are starting to turn up in numbers off our beaches.
