Local Fishing Report Friday 21 November

Local Fishing Report Friday 21 November

The water is looking great offshore! The bait is thick at the usual spots and early season marlin are around. Mahi mahi are slowly making their way to Sydney with a few smaller being spotted. The harbour is producing XL flathead on live baits and bigger plastics and the beaches are producing solid numbers of summer bream.

Sydney Offshore - Fishing Station Staff

The team have had success off Sydney with some early season striped marlin. The water is looking great offshore with plenty of bait at the bait station with the odd smaller mahi mahi making an appearance. It’s looking to be a good season ahead!

Sydney Harbour - Craig McGill

Some very big flatties around ATM. They are in deep water  , on the mud bottom  , in the lower harbour and are taking live baits and big paddle tails bounced along the bottom .  Lots of tailor and salmon around too.

Very patchy currents at present. Still yellowfin and Marlin on the  canyons. Inshore has been all dependant  on currents and temps. Very few Kings and no Mahi yet. Best option has been snapper and Pearl Perch on the 100 metre line . Things should kick into gear within the next couple of weeks .
