The Wilson Electric Assist range offers anglers a range of purpose designed rods for all your deep dropping needs.
Built to perfectly match the Wilson Assist Electric reels and batteries, this range allows anglers to fish shallow for snapper and pearl perch right out to the deep canons where bass groper and flame tail snapper are the targets.
Within the range are six models across three different strength ratings.
The RLFEA1 rods are primarily used for shallow water fishing where PE 2-4 (30-60lb) braided lines are preferred. Ideal for species such as snapper, pearl perch, Tasmanian trumpeter and nannygai, the RLFEA1 is available in a straight butt format (RLFEA1S) for use in the hand, or a bent butt format (RLFEA1) for use in rod holders.
The RLFEA2 rods are the general purpose rods in the range with a line rating from PE 3 to PE 8 (50lb to 100lb braid). These rods will see a lot of work in mid-range depths where bar cod, pearl perch, deepwater Tassie trumpeter and other mixed deep reef species are found. RLFEA2 is a bent butt rod for use in rod holders, while the RLFEA2S gives anglers the option to hand hold the rod while fighting fish.
The RLFEA3 series are the true deep drop rods in the range with a line rating of PE 5 to PE 10 (80lb to 140lb braid). Like the 1 and 2, there is a bent butt model (RLFEA3) and a straight butt model (RLFEA3S) to give anglers the best option for their needs.
All of the Wilson Electric Assist rods feature a full hard guide assembly and aluminium reel seats with locking nuts and aluminium gimbals to make fighting fish easy.
