Upgrades include:
- Stronger 3X BKK trebles.
- Thicker bib going from 1.6mm to 2mm. This will massively increase the lures integrity, meaning a harder more resilient lure overall.
- Internal seals on all hook hangers tow points and bib slots. Negating any water penetration if the lure is compromised after hitting a solid object.
PhD have managed to do these upgrades without compromising the casting efficiency or swimming action.
Mulloway are notorious for ignoring lures that "should" work. The secret lies in their acoustic architecture. Equipped with unusually large ear bones (otoliths), these fish act as precision vibration sensors, allowing them to track a struggling baitfish or a rattling lure from long distances in complete darkness.
