In the early 2000s, fishing legends Starlo & Bushy designed Squidgies in contract with Shimano, a line of soft plastics, jigheads and accessories specifically suited to Aussie fish and conditions. The rest, as they say, is history, and Australian sport fishing has been changed forever (and for the better) as a result. Starlo & Bushy worked on the range to design, field test, refine, endorse and promote their products for over 15 years, and despite no longer having active involvement in the design of new products, their directions and philosophies are maintained.

To this day, Squidgies remain regarded as one of Australia's favourite soft plastics.
