This purpose and custom built range of Fishing Station Redliner rods is based on the fundamental formula of a great "floater" rod, however when you pick one up you will see, and feel the contemporary difference. Hand built on an original Sabre G3-196-7H blank, it is featherweight in the hand, with a soft tip that won't disrupt an attentive Snapper, but once that fish commits, a quick lock up will help to drive home the hook and put the brakes on a deep running adversary.

Float-lining for snapper, Teraglin, Pearl Perch, Mulloway and other demersal species has been an integral part of our East Coast inshore reef fishery for many decades now. That does not mean that the tackle used has to remain back there.

Soft gimbals, nice big EVA grips for "bait-hands" and Seaguide reel seat and guide train round off these beautifully Australian built rods. These rods should train a few old(sea)dogs some new tricks!
