This lure may be unknown to some, but for those in the know it needs no introduction - the '1431' is a homemade lure responsible for the biggest Black Marlin weighed on the East Coast of Australia in the last 50 years. This behemoth of a fish weighed in at 1431 pounds, and was caught onboard the 'Too Easy II' by angler Rob Crane, skipper Russell Gage and expert crewman Elliot Muller. After this historical fish was captured, the Fatboy team worked closely with the crew to re-create this special lure for the public, and the ‘FatBoy Pro 1431’ lure was born! The exact replica of the original lure is the 14” version, whilst the rest of the range has been developed to offer anglers a choice of size options right down to a ‘mini’ 6” version, all of which still retain the same giant-slaying action of the original lure!
