Spring is firing on all cylinders with epic catches both inshore, offshore and landbased. Big mac tuna and longtail tuna are haunting just offshore from Pittwater and the Harbour with big kings, snapper and squid being caught inside the harbour. Pittwater has been producing big schools of feeding salmon.
Special mention to one of our customers, Vinnie who brought in his big kingy he caught off the local rock shelf weighing a whopping 21.5kgs

Some nice snapper getting about in the harbour. Fish in low light with very fresh pilly or squid baits. A few good kings about too and an unseasonal run of big calamari on the kelp beds

Sydney Harbour - Offshore - Stuart Reid
Very productive schools holidays on some decent sized kings . It’s good to see lots of surface action both in the Harbour and close in for those who like the light tackle option. Large numbers of whales going south so be vigilant in the low light!

Pittwater and Sydney Harbour - Justin Duggan
Once again clients have managed some fantastic early Spring longtail Tuna. Best lures being Daiwa saltiga over there 80S and an old school Overthere 130. Best flies remain larger candies and deceivers in 1/0 - 4/0 School holidays have been incredible with huge schools of frothing Mack Tuna to 8kg, huge salmon in crazy numbers ( as big as 4.5kg) , masses of Cowanyoung, Tailor and some solid Bonito. Lure of choice is usually a larger Daiwa slippery dog rigged with singles or a small metal with singles 5-20grams.Twice this week we had mako sharks take fish boat side and there’s plenty more whalers and hammerheads. Overall the Harbour has been fishing well and Pittwater has had its fair share too .
