The mirror gloss finish can be maintained by washing rod with warm fresh water after every use, drying off and polishing with Mr Sheen or spray furniture polish and polishing to a high luster with a soft towelling cloth. Do not spray guides with WD40, R.P7 or C.R.C as this will attack the high gloss finish.
