- Alignment to the boat is set on the spline and the outrigger pole is easily raised or lowered by means of a spring loaded pin, making these much easier to adjust than gunwale mount outriggers
- Spline is supported by a rear plate with reinforced support ribs that absorbs the stresses created by the movements of the poles
