Interested in targeting every inshore fisherman’s favourite target; the humble Snapper, Pinky, Squire, Pag or plain old Reddy? If you are just starting out to chase these amazing sport fish on artificial offerings, it can be at times overwhelming to choose from the plethora of options available.
Pack contents and colours provided are based on stock availability. We will however endeavour to pick colours ideal for Snapper fishing.
Let us take the guess work out, and this is just what we have done for you with our hand selected “Pro Pack”. Our staff have put their heads together and selected a range of lures that they all use, and more importantly, CATCH Snapper on.
Plastics are always a fan favourite, and a versatile option from the shallows through to your deeper reefs and gravel patches, colours and patterns chosen are proven performers all around the country, not just in our backyard. We have added a couple of brands of jigheads, which will suit the plastics chosen. (Note that generally speaking very stretchy plastics such as Baitjunkie will work best on a separated hook keeper as found on TT Headlocks jigheads.)
If you find yourself targeting snapper out in the deeper stuff, we have included heavier jigs, both “Slow Pitch” and “Kaibura” style, these will get down to the zone that these demersals inhabit along the wider patches, and are a deadly option for a huge range of species outside of Snapper, and a very easy to use lure for those just aquatinting themselves with artificials, or trying to wean themselves off the ever faithful bait options.
All Packs include the infamous Squidgy S-Factor scent, to give you the best chance possible at fooling your first, or hundredth Pagrus Auratus.
