Local Fishing Report - 4 September
Spring is here, with temperatures set to push into the low 30s this weekend. Unfortunately, the wind will also be up, which may make conditions a little uncomfortable on the water — but the good news is the fish are there!
The cooler water is making the kingfish a little harder to track down in the harbour, but anglers putting in the time are still finding them. The beaches are fishing well, with most of the better bites coming after dark, while the rocks continue to produce good numbers of luderick and rock blackfish (drummer).
Sydney Harbour/Shoalhaven - Craig McGill
Good kings still around but becoming hard work as the water temp bottoms out.
Some massive slimies around Quarantine Station and a few flatties in North Harbour

Oceanhunter Sportfishing - Vic Levett
Offshore, Kings and Mulloway on offer. Still plenty of annoying Sharks though. Snapper and big Pearl Perch on the 100 metre line.
Sydney Beach and Rock - Fishing Station
The cooler, clear water has slowed the bite but where you find the wash there are plenty of luderick and drummer on offer. On the beaches the salmon have slowed but there are solid bream and the odd large tarwine to be caught after dark.
